Historical Charm Abounds!

Named for “Papa”, a fanatical baseball fan and not a bad novelist who, while living in Cuba, built a baseball diamond that helped fuel that nation’s love of the game. This second story room in our Cooperstown, NY inn, is a Movable Feast for your senses decorated with rich coffee walls, crown molding and beautifully restored floors. The room’s décor hints of safari but rewards with a sumptuous queen bed, reading chair, flat screen TV and features art reminiscent of Hemmingway’s travels. Commanding in scope (like Hemingway himself) this bath features 12-foot ceilings and a gorgeous new ceramic tile shower. Handcrafted ceramic accents and tiled floor hint lightly of Cuba and Kilimanjaro.
