Getting to Cooperstown, NY

  • Take Exit 30 off the NY State Thruway (I-90) at Herkimer
  • Take Route 28 South to Cooperstown
  • Turn left at T-intersection of Chestnut Street
  • Take Exit 25A off the NY State Thruway (I-90W) to I-88W
  • Take I-88W to the first exit (exit 24) at Duanesburg
  • Take Route 20 W to State Route 80 S to Cooperstown
  • Turn right onto Chestnut Street, also part of Route 80
  • Straight through traffic light to 64 Chestnut Street
  • Take I-88E to Exit 17
  • Take Route 28 North to Cooperstown
  • Route 28 becomes Chestnut Street as you enter the village
  • Take 1-87N to exit 21 (Catskill /Leeds) to State Route 23W and travel for 9 miles
  • Take State Route 145N. Go under I-88, stay on 145N through Cobleskill
  • Follow signs for 145N and come to Route 20 West
  • Travel Route 20W for 20 miles to left turn at State Route 80S to Cooperstown
  • Turn right onto Chestnut Street, also part of Route 80
